The C-Section Release Method
A method for bodyworkers to help women recover, reconnect, and reclaim their bodies postpartum.
More then a course- a movement in how we care for women.
39% of Women Birth by C-Section Every Year.
That’s a lot of women who need your help.
When a woman births by C-section, she’s given this advice: “Don’t lift anything heavier than your baby, don’t drive for six weeks, and watch for infection.”
And to me, that’s not good enough.
Because what happens after that?
Many women are left with pain, pulling sensations, lumps, numbness, and a C-section “shelf” they hate. They’re told it’s “just part of having a C-section.”
But I call BS!
I’ve helped countless women recover, reconnect, and reclaim their bodies postpartum, and you can too.
What if you had a method that released restriction, freed the breath, restored movement, and helped women feel at home in their bodies again- physically and emotionally?
Women deserve this level of care. And you can be the one to give it to them.
If you already support women through conception, pregnancy, and postpartum recovery, then abdominal scar release is the missing piece in your women’s health expertise.
The C-Section Release Method- A full-body, full-breath, full-nervous-system reset. And that’s what true postpartum healing looks like.

This isn’t about surface level work or “pretty little patterns” on a C-section scar.
Level 1 and Level 2 of The C-Section Release Method are professional, in-person trainings designed to give you real clinical skill, embodied confidence, and the ability to safely hold women through postpartum healing. Do one, or do both in the same weekend. Level 1 is a pre-requsate to Level 2.
Level 1- The Foundations:
In this training, you’ll learn to:
Optimise breath: Learn how to assess and treat breath dysfunction, using the breath as a primary access point for healing the abdomen, scar, and nervous system.
Understand and treat abdominal patterns: Develop the ability to identify and treat dysfunctional abdominal patterns, these are skills you’ll use with every woman, scar or no scar.
Apply basic and advanced scar release techniques: Integrate myofascial release, massage, cupping, gua sha, and dry needling to release tension through the breath, abdomen, and scar tissue.
Create nervous system safety: You’ll learn how to use touch, breathe, and more to down-regulate the sympathetic nervous system, activate the parasympathetic state, and create safety in the body.
Enhance lymphatic flow and drainage: Free lymphatic pathways to support detoxification, fluid movement, and tissue healing, particularly relevant for post-surgical and postpartum bodies.
Reconnect the deep core- physically and energetically: Learn how to re-engage the deep core in a way that honours both physical recovery and the woman’s relationship with her body.
Level 2- The Deep Dive:
In this training, we’ll explore:
Advanced breath optimisation & unlocking spinal connections: Unlock restrictions in the chest, thoracic spine, and lumbar spine to create full-body expansion.
Refined scar release techniques: Advanced scar mobilisation, adhesion mapping and linking scars to back, hip and deep core dysfunction patterns.
The Belly Button: The Lymph Hot Spot- Understand its role in lymphatic drainage, core activation, pain patterns and post-surgical healing.
Release the thoracolumbar region to support postpartum pain: Learn how to safely release the thoracolumbar region and its fascial connections to address postpartum back and hip pain, epidural site sensitivity, and long-standing compensatory patterns.
Advanced Abdominal Assessment & Exercise Prescription: Move beyond manual release and into functional rehabilitation, helping your clients rebuild from the inside out.
How to adapt these skills across women’s health presentations: Use this work to support endometriosis, enhance fertility outcomes, address chronic pelvic pain, optimise vaginal birth recovery, and treat persistent postpartum and complex cases.
Please note, Level 1 is a pre-requisite for Level 2.
Join the movement in helping women reclaim and reconnect with their bodies, their breath, and their nervous system.
